Cornus kousa 'Rutcan' (Constellation)Constellation Dogwood | |
Hybrid cross of C. kousa and C. florida from Rutgers University. This selection is the most vigorous, developing into a large vase-shaped tree with huge displays of pure white bracts every spring. The flowers are sterile so no messy fruit to pick up. The glossy green foliage is highly disease resistant and turns to briiliant scarlet in the fall.
