Beautiful new growth emerges pink, white, yellow, and green. Summer foliage is glossy deep green. Nice arching, compact habit is good for shady borders or woodland gardens. Prefers loose, humousy soil with adequate moisture. Does well in containers. White, fragrant flowers appear in late spring among the leaf axils.
