New growth is a bright, shiny orange-red that outshines most other dissectums. The bright red color fades to a deep green as the season progresses. A two-toned effect develops, as the red new growth sits atop a deep green base. Leaves are very waxy and sturdy, holding up throught the hottest summers. The habit is strongly weeping, not growing very wide.

Good choice for very hot summer areas where other dissectums would scorch. Leaves are heavier in substance and stand up to heat and wind.
