Brilliant scarlet red fall color in spring? That's what makes this variety standout in a landscape. The new growth emerges hot scarlet slowly turning to deep green into summer. The tree takes on a two-toned look with red new growth on top of a base of deep green foliage. Habit is upright but dense and twiggy. Great choice for containers where the new growth in spring can be seen up close.

Plant this cultivar against a background of dark green conifers so the new red growth really stands out.
